From childhood dream to life's work. Work on it has been ongoing since 1998. The result is well worth seeing. Photos say more than words – and seeing the layouts in real life transports visitors into a dream landscape. On tracks with a total length of 1,800 metres, Oderwitz Model Railway displays models in a wide variety of scales: from a Z winter layout to an N layout, a small TT layout, two large H0 layouts and a garden railway in gauge 1. During your visit, the members of Modelleisenbahnland Oderwitz e.V. will give you a warm welcome and be happy to answer any questions you may have. On days when the garden railway is in operation, you can have drinks and food brought to your table by train. Enjoy one to two hours of pure model railway romance and take a giant stroll with your eyes through the many everyday events on the layouts. On request, you can bring your own digitally controlled locomotive and run it – or become an honorary train driver on the layouts. Visitors from outside the area can book a holiday flat on the property – true to the motto: experience your hobby up close on holiday – unique and exclusive.
