Until 1972, the town of Wilsdruff near Dresden had the second biggest narrow gauge railway station in Germany and was the center of the narrow gauge network with the same name over seven decades. Nowadays, the town has regained its popularity among railway enthusiasts. So, visit our narrow gauge railway museum at the Wilsdruff historical engine shed or the Wilsdruff station, or enjoy a draisine ride on our rebuilt station tracks.

Wilsdruff Station is located on the southern edge of the centre of Wilsdruff. Wilsdruff Station is 1,000 yards away on the western outskirts of the city.

Getting there by bus & train

Wilsdruff can be reached by bus from Dresden Central Station on lines 333 and 424, from Meissen with line 428 and from Freital on line 348. Information on the travel times of the buses can be obtained online from the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe (VVO).
