Among the train passengers are not only day-trippers and tourists but also fans of historic narrow-gauge railways. Thus, by taking a Dresden S-Bahn train or RE 50 regional train, you can get off at Radebeul-Ost, Freital-Hainsberg and Oschatz stations, where the narrow-gauge railways of Lössnitzgrundbahn, Weisseritztalbahn and Döllnitzbahn, respectively, depart. In addition, you can go to Bad Schandau by suburban train to enjoy a scenic ride on the Kirnitzschtalbahn (a tramway).
