If you love traditional country fare, you've come to the right place: with a dining room, fireplace lounge and, weather permitting, a terrace overlooking Lake Horstsee, you are invited to enjoy a celebration, lunch or simply a cup of coffee and a slice of cake with your loved ones. The traditional inn, which was served by the Mügeln–Neichen narrow-gauge railway until 1972, has been in existence since 1889 and has been family-owned since 1892. The current station restaurant in Wermsdorf can seat 16 guests in its cosy living room with a fireplace and furniture from the 1930s. The dining room with its 22 seats offers a beautiful view of Lake Horstsee. Look forward to home-style cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. In 2019, a rustic wooden extension was added to serve as a guesthouse. The five double rooms offer views of Hubertusburg Castle and invite guests to stay longer and explore the forest and lake-rich region.
